A Maybrook man was charged with stealing
a gun from a friend's shed. Blooming Grove Police
charged the 39 year old resident with third-degree
criminal possession of a weapon, a felony. The suspect
stated that he had broken into a shed behind a friend's
house on Route 94 removing the gun from a trunk located
inside the shed. Blooming Grove Police investigated and
found the shed had, indeed, been burglarized. The suspect
was charged by Blooming Grove Police with second
degree burglary, a felony. He was arraigned in
Montgomery Town Court and sent to
Orange County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
