|
On November 4 1995 a thirty five year old art
teacher from Round Hill Elementary School was arrested on thirteen counts of endangering the welfare of a child in relation to a number of suggestive photographs he took of several young female students in a school storage room. The girls although fully clothed, were shown with their legs spread apart and in several of the photographs the girls underwear was visible. At times the teacher had instructed them to spread their legs. A store employee alerted police to the photographs after the teacher had dropped them off for developing. The store clerk developed two sets of the photographs, supplying Blooming Grove Police with a set. In the early morning hours of November 4, 1995 Blooming Grove Police executed a search warrant recovering the additional set of photographs. On May 30, 1996 the nine day trial concluded with the jury of three men and three women finding the teacher guilty of all thirteen misdemeanor counts. |
