Blooming Grove — Early Tuesday morning, Blooming Grove Detective Brett
Weeden responded to a 911 call stating that an armed robbery was in
progress.

When Weeden got to the Craigville Road home of the man who made the
call, Michael Moran, 26, he said he saw "a quantity of marijuana in plain
view." The detective said he also found more pot — more than a half pound,
more than an ounce of hash, and $35,000 in cash.

Late yesterday, Moran was arraigned on charges of drug possession, a
felony, and was held on $5,000 bail in Orange County Jail. The robbery report
is under investigation.
