A 26-year-old
Chester man drove his motorcycle into the back of a car on Route 94
Wednesday night and suffered internal injuries and a fractured leg, Blooming Grove police said. Philip A. Vadala was traveling west on Route 94 about 7:30 p.m. when he hit the back of a Honda sedan that stopped to make a left turn into a driveway, Sgt. Kevin Turpin said. Vadala was taken by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where he remained in fair condition yesterday, police said. Philip A. Hennion, the 22-year-old driver of the Honda, suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention, officials said. Route 94 was closed to traffic for about a half-hour. The cause of the accident remains under investigation |
